"I'll Be Here When You Come Back" - ... and for fellow armchair ethnomusicologists, this is my field recording of an original Edison Phonograph from the early 1900's. The player needs to be wound up (like a music box) every few minutes and each disc plays only up to 5 minutes on each side. This recording, like most of the discs that came with this particular player, are Foxtrots. It's the anti-iPod. You get to work for the music, which makes it hard to take for granted.
